Birth Doula Services

The WFBC Birth Doula Team Model of Care

Here at WFBC, we have always known the value of community care, and we have worked hard to foster that sense of community within our ever growing Wildflower family, but also to extend that community care to ourselves as birth doulas. For us, this looks like Michelle and Natalie working as a team, and sharing all aspects of our client’s doula care, including a balanced calendar of on call and off call time for each doula. A major cornerstone of our values lies in continuity of care. This is why we carefully ensure that every client gets to know both Nat and Michelle throughout their pregnancy, so that when their birthing time comes, our clients feels connected to their doula, regardless of who is on call. We find that having a team of doulas creates sustainability in our work and in our lives, and improves the quality of support that we provide to birthing families.
